Music Transcription Software

A few months ago I purchased some music transcription software called the Amazing Slow Downer . The software allows the user to download a song and then slow it down up to 20% of it's speed while maintaining pitch. It also allows the user to play segments of songs over and over again until it's learned, or transcribed.

I've been working on SRV's El Mocambo performance of Texas Flood, and this software is indispensable. I can hear every note that Stevie hit, at a slower pace, and at the same pitch as full speed.

There is a trial version of this software at the link shown above. The License is $49.99, and I honestly don't know how somebody could accurately transcribe fast tunes without it. Good Luck J.B. 2-27-2011
